Nordic Nickel (ASX:NNL) intersected further mineralized extensions along strike and at depth, and beyond the current resource boundary at the Kopsa project in Finland, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Three holes drilled in the northern zone of the project returned 55 meters at 0.47 grams per tonne grade of gold, 0.18% copper and 2 g/t silver from 291 meters, including 4.5 meters at 2.50 g/t grade of gold, 0.19% copper and 5 g/t silver from 340 meters, and 15 meters at 0.48 g/t grade of gold, 0.12% copper and 3 g/t silver from 368 meters, the filing said.
Results from the metallurgical test program at the project are expected to be received in the third quarter of the year, per the filing.
