Nocera (NCRA) has acquired a 30% controlling stake in Taiwan-based QMAX Technology for $408,000 in shares, Nocera said Wednesday.
The company said it has issued 300,000 restricted common shares, valued at $1.36 per share based on Nocera stock's Monday close, to Chien-Hua Tseng in exchange for the stake.
Nocera said the transaction expands its footprint into memory and storage supply chains.
Shares of Nocera were up more nearly 90% in recent Wednesday morning trading.
