NMDC Reports Higher July Iron Ore Output, Lower Sales

NMDC (NSE:NMDC, BOM:526371) produced 4.1 million metric tons of iron ore in July, up from 3.1 million tons a year earlier, according to a Saturday filing with the Indian exchanges.

Iron ore sales declined to 3.4 million metric tons from 3.5 million metric tons in the same month last year.

For the first four months of fiscal 2027, iron ore production increased to 19.2 million metric tons from 15.1 million metric tons a year earlier, while sales rose to 15.2 million metric tons from 15.0 million metric tons, the filing said.
