Nitto Denko (TYO:6988) posted an 8.2% year-over-year increase in net profit attributable to owners of the parent to 33.87 billion yen for the three months ended June 30 from 31.30 billion yen.
The adhesive manufacturer's basic earnings per share increased to 50.75 yen from 45.68 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Tuesday.
Revenue jumped 10.3% to 271.67 billion yen during the period from 246.2 billion yen in the year-ago period.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company expects attributable profit of 142 billion yen, basic EPS of 212.75 yen, and revenue of 1.11 trillion yen.
Nitto Denko plans to pay a second-quarter dividend of 32 yen for the current fiscal year.
