Nissin Foods Holdings' Attributable Profit Rises 18% in Fiscal Q1; Shares Rise 4%

Nissin Foods Holdings (TYO:2897) posted an 18% year-over-year rise in attributable profit for the fiscal first quarter to 13.3 billion yen from 11.2 billion yen.

Earnings per share were 45.93 yen, compared with 38.11 yen a year earlier, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Tuesday.

Revenue grew 10% to 194.7 billion yen from 177.0 billion yen for the three months ended June 30.

For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the food company expects attributable profit in the range of 45.5 billion yen to 48.0 billion yen, basic EPS in the range of 159 yen to 167 yen, and revenue of 860.0 billion yen.

The company plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 35 yen per share each for the current year, which is the same from the year-ago period.

Shares of the company rose more than 4% in afternoon trade Tuesday.

Inspace Creation (KLSE:INSPACE), through its subsidiary Image Articulation, has entered into a distribution agreement with office furniture company Novah, according to a Monday filing with Bursa Malaysia.Under the pact, Image Articulation will be the exclusive distributor of certain Novah-branded office furniture products within Malaysia.The agreement is initially for two years starting Aug. 1, and will be automatically renewed for an additional two years if Image Articulation achieves at least 80% of the applicable sales targets.

Hanwha Aerospace Ends KRW455 Billion Supply Contract with UK's Vertical Aerospace

Hanwha Aerospace (KRX:012450) said it terminated a 454.8 billion won contract with U.K.-based Vertical Aerospace, according to a Tuesday filing with the Korea Exchange.The contract, signed in August 2022, involved the development and supply of electromechanical actuators, tilting systems and blade pitch systems for Vertical Aerospace's VX4 aircraft.The South Korean aerospace company said the decision was made by mutual agreement following changes in market conditions and business direction relative to the project's original objectives.Hanwha said the companies simultaneously signed a memorandum of understanding to maintain their cooperative relationship and lay the groundwork for future collaboration on similar projects.Shares of Hanwha Aerospace jumped over 10% in recent trade.
