Nissan Motor (TYO:7201) recorded an attributable net income of 3.76 billion yen in the first fiscal quarter, compared with an attributable loss of 115.8 billion yen a year prior.
Basic EPS stood at 1.08 yen, compared with a basic loss per share of 33.15 yen in the year-ago period, according to a Monday Tokyo bourse filing from the automaker.
Net sales climbed 9.5% to 2.964 trillion yen from 2.707 trillion yen in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
The company expects an attributable net income of 20 billion yen, basic EPS of 5.72 yen, and net sales of 13 trillion yen for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027.
