NewtekOne Shares Fall After Company Revises Down 2026, 2027 EPS Outlook

NewtekOne (NEWT) shares fell 3% on Friday after the company lowered its EPS guidance for 2026 and 2027.

The company said it now expects 2026 EPS of $1.70 to $1.80 compared with $2.15 to $2.55 earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expect $2.10.

It now expects 2027 EPS of $2.00 to $2.20 compared with $2.40 to $2.80 earlier. Analysts expect $2.30.

The revised guidance reflects a decision to hold more guaranteed portions of SBA loans on the company's balance sheet, according to a statement.
