New Murchison Gold Posts Updated Mineral Resources, Ore Reserves

New Murchison Gold (ASX:NMG) posted updated mineral resources of 4.5 million tonnes at 2.4 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold for 353,700 ounces of contained gold, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Total ore reserves stood at 1.1 million tonnes at 2.5 g/t grade of gold for 90,800 ounces, the filing said.

The company reported mineral resources of 2.2 million tonnes at 3.8 g/t grade of gold for 276,900 ounces of gold and ore reserves of 920,000 tonnes at 4.6 g/t grade of gold for 135,600 ounces last year, according to an earlier filing.

Carimin Petroleum Raises Stake in Sealink International to 25.3%

Carimin Petroleum (KLSE:CARIMIN) acquired a 5.8% stake in Sealink International (KLSE:SEALINK) for 9.9 million ringgit in cash, according to a Tuesday filing with Bursa Malaysia.The acquisition involved 29.1 million shares bought at 0.34 ringgit each, between Sept. 18 and Sept. 22.Following the acquisition, Carimin's stake in Sealink rose to 25.3% from 19.5%, making Sealink an associate company.Carimin Petroleum said the acquisition was part of its ongoing investment strategy.The deal was funded through internally generated funds and does not require shareholder or regulatory approval, the filing said.
