New Murchison Gold Posts Lower Gold Ore Sales in March Quarter

New Murchison Gold (ASX:NMG) sold a total of 173,174 tonnes of ore at 3.1 grams per tonne gold in the March quarter, for 16,660 ounces of gold, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.The company reported 187,384 tonnes of ore sold for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2025, an earlier filing showed.The company reported a cash build of AU$63.6 million for the quarter, delivering a closing cash balance of AU$155.6 million.The company said it is unhedged and debt-free, with the attributable gold bullion price under the ore purchase agreement for the March quarter of AU$6,994 per ounce against an attributable all-in sustaining cost of AU$3,326 per ounce, the filing added.The company's shares fell 2% in recent Tuesday trade.

New Murchison Gold Says Western Australia Mine Drilling Delivers High-Grade Gold Intercepts, Shares Jump 6%

New Murchison Gold (ASX:NMG) said extensional drilling below the planned base of the operating Crown Prince mine open pit in Western Australia delivered high-grade gold intercepts, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.These intercepts included the deepest ore grade interval seen at Crown Prince so far, at 3.2 meters at 48.9 grams per tonne grade of gold from 330 meters. It also hit an intercept of 13 meters at 13.3g/t grade of gold from 164 meters.Its shares jumped 6% in recent trading on Thursday.

New Murchison Gold Finds High-Grade Gold Mineralization at Western Australia Project

New Murchison Gold (ASX:NMG) said it found high-grade gold mineralization during a recent drilling at the Crown Prince East Pit, a satellite deposit at the Crown Prince Gold Mine within its Garden Gully Gold Project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.The results were up to 18 meters at 10.3 grams per tonne gold from 54 meters, including 6 meters at 29.3 grams per tonne gold from 65 meters.The company said the next steps include updating mineralization modeling and incorporating results into a JORC-compliant resource model and redesigning the pit outline, as well as preparing for mining commencement, including sourcing additional mining equipment if necessary.
