New Found Gold's (NFG.V) shares will begin trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange at the opening of the market on Aug. 26, it said Tuesday.
The shares will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange once the trading on the TSX begins, it said.
The company's trading symbol will change to "NFGC" but the CUSIP and ISIN will remain unchanged, it added.
"Not only will the TSX listing increase our visibility within the global mining investment community, it will also open the doors to a broader investor base and demonstrate our credibility within the market as we continue to execute on our long-term strategy of becoming Canada's next mid-tier gold producer," said Chief Executive Officer Keith Boyle.
The company's shares closed up C$0.09, or 3.6%, to C$2.62 Monday on the Venture Exchange.
