NeoTerrex Minerals (NTX.V) received permission to proceed with its planned 2026 mineral exploration program from the Kativik Regional Government, at the Strange Lake West project in Nunavik, Quebec.
The program includes geological mapping, examination of rock outcrops, rock sampling, geochemical surveying and lake-bottom sediment sampling across selected target areas within the project, NeoTerrex said Wednesday in a statement. Field activities are expected to start in August. The project is in a prospective district for heavy rare earth elements, according to the company.
Shares of NeoTerrex closed unchanged at C$0.08 on Tuesday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
