NEOJAPAN's Profit Climbs 9% in Fiscal Q1

NEOJAPAN's (TYO:3921) profit attributable to owners of the parent rose 9% to 487 million yen for the fiscal first quarter from 447 million yen a year earlier.

The software company's basic earnings per share increased to 34.78 yen from 31.97 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.

Net sales climbed 4.1% to 2.08 billion yen for the three months ended April 30 from nearly 2 billion yen in the prior-year period.

For the fiscal year ending Jan. 31, 2027, the company expects attributable profit of 1.88 billion yen, basic EPS of 133.88 yen, and net sales of 8.62 billion yen.

NEOJAPAN plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 27 yen per share, each, for the current fiscal year, totaling 54 yen, which is higher than the 52 yen per share total paid in the year-ago period.
