MediaTek (TPE:2454) booked consolidated net sales of NT$47.4 billion in May, up 1.5% from NT$46.7 billion in April, according to a Wednesday Taiwan Exchange filing.
Shares slid about 3% in Thursday's late morning trade.
MediaTek did not provide further details in the filing.

Posco Holdings (KRX:005490) disclosed a serious industrial accident at its Shinansan Line l, which left one worker dead, according to a Wednesday filing with the Korea Exchange.The worker fell from a height during electrical work preparation in a vertical shaft on Tuesday.
