National Bank of Canada (NA.TO) reported Q3 adjusted diluted earnings of C$3.39 per share, up from C$2.68 a year earlier and above the C$3.21 consensus estimate compiled by FactSet.
Adjusted net income rose 23% year over year to C$1.36 billion.
Adjusted revenue for the three months ended July 31 increased to C$4.05 billion from C$3.45 billion. The consensus on FactSet was for C$3.87 billion.
The bank also declared a dividend of C$1.32 per common share, payable on Nov. 1 to shareholders of record on Sept. 28.
