Nan Ya Plastics (TPE:1303) booked second-quarter net profit attributable to shareholders of NT$26.8 billion, or NT$3.37 per share, hitting a record high, thanks to a surge in AI demand.
Revenue for the three months rose to NT$83.7 billion from NT$68.6 billion in the first quarter, according to a Thursday Taiwan Exchange filing.
For the first half of 2026, net profit reached an all-time high of NT$41 billion, with EPS of NT$5.17.
Meanwhile, revenue for the six months increased 16% annually to NT$152.2 billion.
The company attributed the upbeat results to strong AI-driven demand for electronic materials, higher product prices and improved earnings from equity investments, including Nanya Technology (TPE:2408), and Formosa Petrochemical (TPE:6505), the filing said.
