MSP Steel & Power Signs Long-Term Solar Power Deal for 10 MWp Capacity

MSP Steel & Power (NSE:MSPL, BOM:532650) has entered into a 25-year power purchase agreement with Elevate Solar Energy to procure electricity from a contracted 10 MWp solar capacity.

The power will be supplied under a group captive arrangement at a fixed tariff of 3.17 rupees per unit, according to a stock exchange filing.

The allocation is part of a larger 70 MWp solar project being developed in Chhattisgarh, India, of which 10 MWp has been earmarked for MSP Steel's captive use.
