Motorola Solutions (MSI) won a 10-year, $139 million contract from the state of Louisiana to provide mobile video, digital evidence management systems, and radio network enhancements.
The initiative brings six state agencies across 64 parishes under a unified public-safety platform with body cameras, in-car video, and automated administrative software, the company said Monday in a statement.
The agreement extends the existing Louisiana Wireless Information Network maintenance accord covering more than 109,000 users and includes the deployment of new smart radios equipped with real-time language translation, Motorola said.
