Motorola Solutions Plans $100 Million Expansion of Silvus Technologies' Operations

Motorola Solutions (MSI) announced Thursday a $100 million investment to scale and diversify the manufacturing and supply chain operations of Silvus Technologies.

The investment is anchored by a new manufacturing facility in Salt Lake City, Utah, that will allow Silvus to scale production of its mission-critical StreamCaster MANET radios, Motorola said.

The investment is supported by the Utah Governor's Office of Economic Development and the Utah Inland Port Authority, according to the company.
