Morguard (MRC.TO) received the Toronto Stock Exchange's (TSX) approval to renew a normal course issuer bid to buy back and cancel up to 533,913 shares over the next 12 months.
The allowed limit is 5% of its outstanding shares, the company said.
The renewed NCIB takes effect on Sept. 22.
Under its expiring program, the company repurchased none of an allowed 535,195 shares.
Shares of the company were last seen up CA$1.15, or 1%, to CA$116.5 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
