Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (TYO:9104) posted a year-over-year increase in profit attributable to owners of the parent to 61.1 billion yen for the three months ended June 30 from 52.8 billion yen.
The Japan-based shipping and transport company's net income per share increased to 177.44 yen from 152.66 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo Stock Exchange filing on Friday.
Revenues jumped to 731 billion yen from 433 billion yen in the year-ago period.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company forecasts an attributable profit of 240 billion yen, net income per share of 698.27 yen, and revenues of 2.230 trillion yen.
The company plans to pay a second-quarter dividend of 100 yen per share for the current fiscal year.
