Midnight Sun Mining (MMA.V) has commenced its Phase Two exploration program at the Dumbwa copper deposit in Zambia, the company said Wednesday.
With the start of Phase Two, the company has shifted from a systematic evaluation to a targeted exploration strategy to identify and expand higher-grade zones of copper mineralization, extend known mineralization and test newly identified prospective structures.
Phase One remains underway, with completion expected by the end of the third quarter. The dataset generated from Phase One will be leveraged for Phase Two to focus drilling on the highest-priority targets.
