Metro Mining (ASX:MMI) said 700,000 wet metric tonnes (wmt) were shipped from its Bauxite Hills Mine in Cape York, Far North Queensland, in July, with one million bank cubic meters of waste stripped year-to-date, a 140% increase year-on-year, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Shipment guidance for the year remains at 6.6 million wmt to 7.1 million wmt, the filing added.
The company's shares rose 1% in recent Monday trade.
