Metatek-Group Swings to Loss in Q2, Revenue Falls; Announces Full-Year Fiscal 2026 Guidance

Metatek-Group (MTEK.TO) reported second quarter loss of $0.05 per share, compared to profit of $0.01 per share a year earlier.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $2.8 million compared to $4.5 million a year earlier, the company added on Thursday.

The company expects full-year fiscal 2026 total revenue to be between $28 million and $32 million. It also expects full-year fiscal 2026 adjusted EBITDA to be between $11 million and $13 million, added the company.

They closed down C$1.1 at C$49.8 on Toronto Stock Exchange on Wednesday.

WSP Global (WSP.TO) after trade Wednesday reported second-quarter adjusted net earnings per share of C$2.88, up from C$2.35 a year ago.Analysts polled by FactSet expected C$2.83.Revenue for the quarter ended June 26 was C$5.40 billion, up from C$4.51 billion a year ago. Net revenue rose to C$4.27 billion, compared with C$3.48 billion a year earlier.Analysts polled by FactSet expected sales of C$4.22 billion.The company raised the lower end of its 2026 net revenue guidance to C$16.2 billion from C$16 billion, while maintaining the upper end at C$17 billion. For Q3, it expects net revenue of C$4.15 billion to C$4.35 billion.
