Metalla Royalty & Streaming Swings to Q2 Profit as Revenue Jumps 94%

Metalla Royalty & Streaming (MTA.V, MTA) after the close on Thursday reported second-quarter net income of $0.01 per share, compared with a loss of $0.02 per share in the prior-year period. It matched the FactSet consensus.

For the three months ended June 30, net income stood at $1.2 million, compared with a loss of $1.7 million in the same period last year.

Recognized revenue from royalty and stream interests, including fixed royalty payments, increased 94% to $5.2 million from $2.7 million in the prior-year period. It surpassed the FactSet consensus of $4.1 million.

In 2026, the company expects to receive or accrue payments on 3,500 to 4,500 attributable Gold Equivalent Ounces. The lower end of the range reflects current operating assumptions and known constraints, while the upper end incorporates the potential impact of improved grades, Metalla said.

Its shares closed down C$0.09 to C$12.63 on TSX Venture Exchange on Thursday.

CAE's Fiscal Q1 Adjusted Earnings Remain Unchanged; Revenue Rises; Fiscal 2027 Outlook Kept

CAE (CAE.TO) after trade Wednesday reported fiscal first-quarter adjusted earnings per share of C$0.26, unchanged from a year ago.Analysts polled by FactSet expected C$0.23.Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 rose to C$1.17 billion from C$1.10 billion a year earlier.Analysts polled by FactSet expected C$1.13 billion.The company said its fiscal 2027 outlook remains unchanged. It continues to expect low-single-digit percentage revenue growth and adjusted EPS of C$1.21 to C$1.28.
