Medicure (MPH.V) said Monday that Neil Owens has resigned as president and chief operating officer, effective May 31.
Board chair and chief executive Albert Friesen will assume the responsibilities of president to ensure continuity of leadership and operations, a statement said.
Medicure shares closed unchanged at $1.35 on Friday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
Dios Exploration (DOS.V) on Friday closed the second tranche of a non-brokered private placement of flow-through share units, raising $158,000.The company placed 3.95-million units in the tranche, with each priced at $0.04 each and made up of a tax-advantaged share and one half of a two-year warrant to buy a share for $0.06.Including the first tranche, the company has now raised $508,000, selling 12.7-million units and expects the offering to raise a total $650,000.The company said proceeds will be used for gold exploration in Quebec, including drilling at the Heberto-Gold discovery on its Au33 property in the James Bay region.The company's shares last traded Thursday, closing at $0.035 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
