Medicenna Therapeutics' (MDNA.TO) fiscal 2026 net loss widened to C$0.22 per share, from C$0.18 per share the prior year.
Increased clinical trial costs, including enrolling more patients for the Ability-1 study, and the launch of the Neo-Cyt study raised expenses for the year ended March 31, the company said.
Medicenna exited the fiscal year with C$6.3 million cash. It subsequently raised C$4.4 million in a public offering of units, and sealed a C$8 million structured financing arrangement.
Total proceeds will provide the company with sufficient capital for its expenditures through the first quarter of 2027.
