McDonald's (MCD) is likely to issue new financial targets through 2030 at its upcoming investor day, along with details of its NEXT growth strategy and remodel program, RBC Capital Markets said in Monday note.
The key debates around the 2030 targets are likely to center on the outlook for capital spending and free cash flow given the upcoming US remodel cycle and on the outlook for unit growth, RBC said.
Among the highlights of the investor day is McDonald's NEXT strategy, which covers store remodeling, menu innovation, marketing and hospitality, RBC added. The company's remodeling cycle in 2027 to 2030 is likely to be in line with store changes under the NEXT strategy.
RBC maintained its sector perform rating on McDonald's, and lowed the price target to $290 from $295.
