Marqeta Expands Partnership With Google on Digital Allowance Tool for Kids

Marqeta (MQ) said Thursday it is expanding its partnership with Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google to enable kids and teens under 18 to receive and spend allowances through Google Wallet.

The offering uses Marqeta's tokenization and spend-control technology, giving parents visibility into transaction history and notifications, along with the ability to set daily limits and lock or unlock balances, the company said.
