Shell (SHEL.L, SHELL.AS) could reach a final agreement for the sale of its Sprng Energy unit to Aditya Birla Group in the coming weeks, Bloomberg News reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The British oil and gas giant is asking $1.8 billion for the Indian renewable energy company, according to the sources, who added that talks are ongoing and terms may still change.
