SAIC Motor (SHA:600104) and Volkswagen's premium unit Audi set up a joint innovation hub for the China-exclusive all-caps AUDI brand, Reuters reported Thursday, citing a company statement.

The JV will focus on vehicle and driving control technologies, AI-powered cockpits, and driver assistance systems for premium Chinese customers, according to the report.

Audi did not immediately respond to a request for comment from.

Kafelaku Coffee Upsizes Private Placement to HK$11.6 Million

Kafelaku Coffee Holding (HKG:1869) has revised the terms for its private placement offering to raise HK$11.6 million, up from HK$11 million, according to a Wednesday bourse filing.The specialty coffee chain said it will now offer 282.1 million shares at HK$0.041 apiece, up from HK$0.039. The new offer price represents an 18% discount to the stock's last closing price.Kafelaku also extended the offering closing date to Sept. 23 from Sept. 2.Shares of the company are down 4% in open market trading on the HKEX.
