NTT DATA Group (TYO:9613) introduced a new payment service in India called Adaptis, Nikkei Asia reported Saturday.
NTT Data's India unit CEO Takeo Ueno told reporters last week in Mumbai that the company will offer the same high-quality payment services in India as it does in Japan.
The payment service, already available in Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Japan, comes after NTT Data's acquisition of Malaysian payment processor GHL Systems. The Japanese technology company targets 150 billion yen in annual overseas electronic payments revenue by fiscal 2030, according to the news report.
