Malaysia's economic performance is likely to stay strong in the second half of 2026, Bernama reported Saturday, citing Minister of Economy Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir.
Akmal Nasrullah said the government's measures for a stable oil supply through 2026, as well as hosting the Formula One race, will support the country's economy, according to the report.
In July, the Malaysian central bank said the nation's economy is "well on track" to grow 4% to 5% in 2026, and likely to be in the upper range.
