JPMorgan Chase (JPM) led a $450 million debt financing for messaging company Bird.com to fund a dividend for shareholders and current and former employees, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.

The financing comprises a $400 million term loan and a $50 million credit facility, with Capital One Financial (COF) and Citigroup (C) among the other lenders, according to the report.

JPMorgan Chase, Capital One Financial, Citigroup and Bird did not immediately respond to' request for comment.

Spire Global (SPIR) won a $33.2 million contract from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to deliver global navigation satellite system radio occultation data to enhance weather forecasting.The data will feed NOAA's prediction models and support weather forecasting, space weather applications, and research by scientific organizations, Spire said Tuesday in a statement.The two-year contract, which starts Dec. 1, includes additional unfunded surge-buy options that may raise the total value to $66 million if fully exercised, the company said.Spire shares rose 2.2% in after-hours trading.
