Japanese companies are considering key measures, including asset sales, to offset higher costs of borrowing in yen, Bloomberg News reported Thursday, citing a survey of Japanese companies.
Some of the measures under consideration include increasing overseas borrowing and bringing forward funding plans, a survey of 30 Japanese nonfinancial companies with outstanding yen bonds showed.
The findings were based on replies gathered from 14 companies in August, the report said.
