Chinese smartphone makers Huawei and Xiaomi (HKG:1810) launched foldable smartphones on Monday, ahead of Apple's foldable smartphone debut later this week in China, Reuters reported the same day.
Huawei's Mate XT2 series, priced 19,999-24,999 yuan, features a Kirin 9050 Pro chip and redesigned hinge. Xiaomi's 18 Fold, priced 10,999-14,999 yuan, comes with its in‑house XRing O3 AI processor and CXMT memory chips, the report said.
