China is Germany's largest trading partner in the first three months of 2026, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing the newswire's computations from the Federal Statistics Office.
Total trade between China and Germany reached 61.5 billion euros in the first quarter, higher than the total trade value of 60 billion euros with the U.S. and 52.8 billion euros with the Netherlands, the report said.
Exports to China slid 12.5% to 18 billion euros, while imports increased 6.4% to 43.5 billion euros, the report said.
