Centene (CNC) will offer buyouts to most employees to reduce costs after a slump in health-plan membership in the past year, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing a company spokesperson.
The company had 61,000 employees in Q1, and layoffs may follow if voluntary separation targets are not met, the report said.
Centene didn't specify the target for the workforce cuts, the report said.
