United Launch Alliance, the rocket joint venture between Boeing (BA) and Lockheed Martin (LMT), is seeking to raise about $500 million through a private bond placement to refinance debt, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The bonds will be a true private placement, meaning they won't be registered or offered in public markets, according to the report.
United Launch Alliance did not immediately respond to a request for comment from.
