Amazon.com (AMZN) is in discussions to sell its custom AI chips for use in other firms' data centers, expanding its efforts to challenge Nvidia's (NVDA) dominance in the AI chip market, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing Amazon AI chief Peter DeSantis.

CEO Andy Jassy said in April that it was "quite possible" Amazon would eventually sell its chips to third parties, the news outlet added.
