Macau's gaming revenue fell 1.2% year-over-year to 21.9 billion Macanese patacas in August, according to data released by the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau.
The August total rose from 20.3 billion Macanese patacas in July, although it remained below the 22.2 billion patacas recorded in August 2025.
Gaming revenue for the first eight months of 2026 rose 3.7% to 169.1 billion Macanese patacas.

Approved new mortgage lending was down 12% compared with the same period last year.
