Lunnon Metals Mines Over 62,000 Tonnes at Western Australia Open Pit Gold Mine in June

Lunnon Metals (ASX:LM8) said it received AU$12 million as payment in June from Gold Fields for gold mined under an ore purchase agreement, with over 62,000 tonnes at 1.73 g/t grade of gold, containing 3,473 ounces of gold, delivered from the Lady Herial open pit gold mine in Western Australia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The operations are expected to be completed in August or September. Around 90% of the total pit volume had been mined, and 66% of the gold by the end of June.

China Southern Airlines Warns of Wider H1 Loss

China Southern Airlines (HKG:1055, SHA:600029) expects an attributable net loss of 3.47 billion yuan to 3.97 billion yuan for the first half, widening from 1.53 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.The company attributed the expected loss to sharply higher aviation fuel costs amid geopolitical tensions, despite growth in passenger traffic and revenue during the first half.Hong Kong-listed shares of the airline were down nearly 2% in Wednesday morning trade.
