Lundin Mining (LUN.TO) posted second-quarter adjusted earnings of $0.30 per share from $0.10 in the previous year.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.35.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 increased to $1.21 billion from $878.2 million a year ago.
Analysts expected $1.20 billion.
The miner produced 33,964 tonnes of copper in the second quarter, rising from 29,290 tonnes a year earlier. Gold production fell to 17,843 tonnes from 20,574 tonnes, molybdenum production slipped to 378 tonnes from 380 tonnes, and silver production fell to 291,000 ounces from 431,000 ounces.
The company reiterated its 2026 production and cash cost guidance, while raising its capital-spending guidance to $85 million from $50 million.
Lundin said its board declared a regular quarterly dividend of C$0.0275 per share, payable Sept. 23 to shareholders of on Sept. 4.
The company's shares closed up C$1.07, or 2.8%, to C$38.77 Wednesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
