Lumine Group Acquires Synamedia's Video Network Business, Imagine Communications

Lumine Group (LMN.V) has acquired the Synamedia's video network business and Imagine Communications Holdings through its subsidiaries.

Both acquisitions deepen Lumine's presence in the media supply chain domain, the communications and media software business acquirer said on Wednesday.

Synamedia's video network business will operate under the name "Quortex" as a standalone company. Imagine Communications provides video connectivity solutions, channel origination software and hardware, and advertising management and monetization solutions.

The Project will generate billions of dollars in government revenue, deliver hundreds of jobs and careers in the local region, provide significant contracting opportunities for regional and Indigenous businesses, support regional infrastructure and services, and add billions of dollars to the gross domestic product at a critical time for the Ontario and Canadian economy," Wilton said.

International Battery Metals Appoints Grant Thornton as Auditor

International Battery Metals (IBAT.V) after the close on Tuesday announced that it has changed its auditor from CBIZ CPAs P.C. to Grant Thornton LLP.The former auditor was dismissed effective June 24 and the company's board has appointed the successor auditor on the same day to hold office until the next annual meeting of shareholders.
