Lumina Closes Overallotment Option in Connection with Initial Public Offering

Lumina Metals (LMCU.TO) raised an additional C$15 million after underwriters partially exercised their overallotment option under the company's initial public offering and secondary offering of common shares, Lumina said Friday.

The company raised $406.2 million from the shares offering. The overallotment option covered 1.2 1.2 million shares from treasury at $12.50 per share.

With the closing of the over-allotment option, there are 109,020,274 common shares issued and outstanding.

Lumina is advancing the Nowa Sol, Sulmierzyce and Mozow projects in Poland.

Talisker Resources (TSK.TO) filed its notice of meeting, management information circular and related documents with securities regulators in connection with its upcoming Annual and Special Meeting of holders of common shares, it said on Friday.The company said the two new directors who will be standing for election to the board are Duncan Middlemiss and Daniele Spethmann. It is expected that after Middlemiss' election he will be appointed as Chair, with the current Chair, Morris Prychidny to continue with the company as a director, it said.Middlemiss was the President, Chief Executive and a director of Wesdome Gold Mines (WDO.TO) from 2016 to 2023, it said. Spethmann is an exploration geologist and mining executive with more than 30 years of experience in mineral exploration, corporate development, capital markets, and governance, it added.Shares of the company closed up 2.3% to $1.35 on Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Aptose Biosciences Says Acquisition by Hanmi Delayed Until June

Aptose Biosciences' (APS.TO) acquisition by Hanmi has been further delayed as certain Korean regulatory approvals remain in progress, the company said on Friday.The parties do not anticipate that the review will prevent closing and are working toward completing the arrangement in June, a statement said.The company has received an additional advance of US$2.0 million from Hanmi as part of a US$11.9 million loan amended facility agreement announced last year. To date, Aptose has received US$9.9 million. The funds enable uninterrupted continuance of the Tuscany clinical trial with tuspetinib in combination with venetoclax and azacitidine for the frontline treatment of newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML).Aptose shares closed unchanged at $2.28 on Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
