Lion One Metals (LIO.V) has commenced the first phase of its mill expansion project at the Tuvatu gold mine in Fiji, the gold miner said Tuesday.
Phase one of the project will increase the plant capacity to 400 tonnes per day from 300 tonnes per day, generating additional gold production of 2,100 ounces per year.
The project aims to boost the mill's capacity to 700 tonnes per day at an estimated cost of C$13.5 million, with completion targeted by the end of the first quarter of 2027.
