Legend Holdings (HKG:3396) expects first-half net profit attributable to equity holders of at least 2 billion yuan, up at least 186% from 699 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The information technology company attributed the expected earnings growth to a turnaround in its industrial incubations and investments segment, where the investment business returned to profitability as the capital market recovered.
It expects to release its interim results by the end of August.
Shares of the firm rose nearly 11% in recent trading.
