Lassonde Industries (LAS-A.TO) late on Thursday reported second-quarter adjusted earnings of C$7.45 per share, up from C$5.47 a year ago.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected C$6.14.
The fruit drinks and snacks company said sales for the quarter ended June 27 were C$737.7 million compared to C$742.4 million in the previous year.
Analysts, on average, expected C$746.2 million.
The company said it expects 2026 sales to be slightly below its 2025 results.
The company said its board declared a quarterly dividend of C$1.25 per share, payable Sept. 15 to all registered holders of Class A and Class B shares on Aug. 18.
Separately, Lassonde said it is awaiting exchange approval to launch a normal course issuer bid to buy and cancel up to 200,000 subordinate voting shares, 6.52% of the total outstanding class shares.
Lassonde's Class A shares closed up C$2.19, or 1%, to $226.99 Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
