Labrador Gold (LAB.V) has received a class 1 permit for its proposed exploration for the Mariposa and Eureka Dome projects in Yukon, the company said Tuesday.
The permit allows Labrador Gold to start scheduling a summer field program at Mariposa.
The company's plans during the field season include 808-line kilometers of high resolution airborne magnetic and radiometric surveying, LiDAR surveying, grid soil sampling and ridge and spur sampling at Eureka Dome.
All contractors required to carry out the field program have been lined up. Osprey Long Range has been contracted to carry out the soil surveys, which should be completed by early September, Labrador Gold said.
"We continue to compile and reinterpret the significant amount of historical data which will provide further guides to work going forward," CEO Roger Moss said.
