L3Harris Technologies Gets $84 Million US Army Communications Systems Orders

L3Harris Technologies (LHX) said Thursday it received $84 million in orders from the US Army to provide Next Generation Command and Control manpack Falcon communication systems.

The orders cover AN/PRC-158C systems equipped with high-throughput mobile ad hoc network capabilities and resilient waveforms that will serve as part of the NGC2 program's transport layer, enabling communications across sensors, shooters and command-and-control systems, the company said.

Ampco-Pittsburgh Reports Higher Customer Order Activity for H1

Ampco-Pittsburgh (AP) said Wednesday its customer order activity in the first half of 2026 totaled about $268 million, up from $204 million in the same period a year earlier.Customer order activity in the company's Forged and Cast Engineered Products segment rose 25% in the first six months of 2026, while Air and Liquid Processing experienced 42% growth year over year, according to a statement.Shares rose more than 15% in after-hours trading.
