Kumho Engineering & Construction Revises Central Line Railway Contract Amount Upward to KRW142 Billion

Kumho E&C's revised contract amount for the Central Line Dodam-Yeongcheon double-track railway Section 10 civil works now stands at over 142 billion won, up from 140.8 billion won in the original disclosure submitted on Dec. 30, 2025.

The revision, made due to a changed construction contract, follows the increase in total contract value to 188.4 billion won from 186.8 billion won initially, with the company's construction share rising from 75.37% to 75.39%.

The project, ordered by the Korea Rail Network Authority, covers a 13.8 km section in Uiseong and Gunwi counties, Gyeongsangbuk-do, with a construction period from Nov. 2, 2015, to June 30, 2027, according to a bourse filing on Monday.
